Review: Invincible #88

images-7
My favourite comic outside of the big two delivers yet another solid issue. The Kirkman-Ottley team shows a textbook example of how comics should be done. A crisis, is introduced. The main players debate the issue; a lot more people get involved, further complicating matters. And out of that conflict, A bit of recklessness  causes the whole thing to go haywire.

Whats so good about invincible is that it grabs your attention from start to finish and leaves you wanting for more.

Even if the characters are just standing in the background, while talking, there is never a dull moment. A testament to the talent involved in the making of this book.

Allen The Alien, backed up by Mark's brother Oliver, continues with his plan to unleash the scourge virus into Earth's atmosphere with the intent of wiping out The planets hidden Viltrumite population. Last issues cliffhanger, where the Viltrumite tribe's leader, Thragg, confronts them in space, continues on here. And if you are a fan of invincible just like me, you know that nothing ever goes right for our hero.  The events of this MUST READ issue, will be felt for sometime to come. I always give Invincible a 5/5 because the creative team never lets me down. If you aren't reading this title now, I suggest now would be a good time to start.
