This cover is one of my all time favourites. The colour scheme is perfect, and each image in the collage is purposefully placed.

Often it is the most simple designs that are the most striking.

The cover for the final issue of 100 Bullets just scream finality. The curtain, the open briefcase and fallen contents - brilliant.

One thing Johnson does as well as, if not better than anyone else is collage. He combines elements of the story so well, it works both dramatically and aesthetically.

I love Johnson's use of skulls in his Punisher Max covers. It's a great little design element that gives the cover an extra layer of meaning.
