THE BEAUTY beat out seven other competitors to take the Pilot Season crown in the most competitive voting period in the history of Pilot Season. This year saw the adoption of elimination-style voting as titles competed over three rounds to determine the overall winner.
I love the idea of Pilot Season – put out the first issue of a bunch of new series and let the readers decide which one stays. Theory of Everything by Dan Casey and Thomas Nachlik is a good entry, especially if you like intelligent science fiction.
