Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth Set for Global Launch on October 24, 2014‏

Today 2K and Firaxis Games announced that Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth will be released globally on Friday, October 24, 2014 for Windows PC. Fans who pre-order the game from participating retailers will receive the Exoplanets Map Pack at launch, which includes six custom maps inspired by real exoplanets. In addition, we are releasing a new narrated gameplay walkthrough video, as well as a behind the scenes look at the making of the game.

Previously only available to view live at E3, these videos provide a chance to see why Civilization: Beyond Earth won “Best Strategy Title” from the E3 Game Critics Awards.
